+Everyone is online, connected surfing the information superhighway at home this day. For work, school, education, teaching and so much more. But for only a few years ago, the idea of video streaming at home,  doing our office work from home where strange idea.  Tonight, during “ Century 21 Calling - Gone Surfing ”, we are going to explore the concept via the internet and how this communication network have evolved over time and with the help of education videos, you too will know how to surf the information superhighway.

+Century 21 Calling is a series of screenings initiated by the Save_as collective and hosted normally at Varia in Rotterdam. Together, we take a look at the archival industrial films, corporate infomercials, tv reports and historical documentary of yesterday that shaped the imagination of tomorrow and hold it up to the light of the present.

+This is still an experiment, so expect possible technical issues, we keep the chat text-based this time.
