+The first Calm Coding session in November will be dedicated to poetic gestures in computing which have the potential to reconfigure these controlled operational spaces. Through conversation and experiments, this session will softly start a research thread around this topic, for which we welcome you to bring ideas and experiments of what poetic computing could mean, what it could do and undo.
+
+As usual with Calm Coding, this time is unstructured there will be a check-in at the beginning of the evening, and a check-out summary at the end. These meetups are free and open to the public. No registration, nor expertise is required.

+We recognise the historically muddy waters of mainstream coding communities and the dominance of patriarchal and capitalist mindsets and behaviours within them. We aim to build an inclusive space and would ask all those who attend to take a moment to read the following:
