There doesn't seem to be a ready-made solution. The only thing I see is this pretty hairy Pelican core patching https://alexwlchan.net/2014/12/pelican-linkposts/. Maybe we can override the feed generation with a plugin? I am not sure.

Tags already come out as categories and we can read start times from the events file. Sooo, gonna close this off. See https://git.vvvvvvaria.org/varia/varia-library-website/issues/3 for more.
