<br>You probably already saw the "Save the date" for the Autonomous Fabric symposium on Friday 12 April. Just like in 2017 it will be a day where people from all artistic self-organisations in Rotterdam will be invited, there will be thematic workshops during the day and a communal dinner in the WdKA. <br>This year we wanted (in contrast to 2017) all workshops to take place at Zuid and - in collaboration with artist-run spaces/initiatives - concentrate on questions of autonomy, gentrification and intersectionality. We plan two thematically more specific workshops on each of the three questions, so 6 workshops in total. For each workshop there is a budget of 1500 EUR available [for preparation, execution, rent, material costs]. <br>My question to Varia - and next to that also to De Player, Wolfart/NAC, Rib and possibly also the Poortgebouw - is if you have the time and interest to give a workshop (possibly also with others). For example, you already mentioned the problem of dependence on commercial social media [Facebook events etc.] in artistic self-organizations and showing alternatives.
